I found a great site that has steps on how to begin with In Design. This is another program I really haven't worked with so this has 5 steps on getting started with the basics.

This one describes the work area. It shows pictures and talks about all the menu options, palettes, and window functions.

This last one was titled "In Design Secrets" so how could you not click on it? I think knowing little tricks and secrets is good and if you don't have to find them on your own its even better!

Mini and Max

These are my mini and max posters...I'm still working on them but I at least wanted to upload something. I definitely like the max poster (the punk one) but I'm trying to add different elements all over.

Business Cards

Here are my 5 business cards! I wanted something basic and simple that wouldn't be too much for a small card. I really like how they turned out! Really happy about them. =)

Illustrator Tutorials

I found the "What are vector shapes" movie the most helpful. I watched it several times because I have never used Illustrator before and really didn't know where to start with it. After watching the movie on vector shapes it all clicked for me on why I would use Illustrator and how I could make things with it.

I really liked how the movies showed you what to do instead of just telling you. Reading something and seeing something is definately different for me and I would rather see what to do and explore then read something and try to figure it out. So I really liked that things were spelled out for me and I wasn't just playing around clicking on things I had no idea about.

Calligram

My Calligram is an outline of Sally Brown from Charlie Brown. I am going to be in the musical "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" in September so I thought I'd take the lyrics of my solo song and apply them to the outline of Sally herself. It's going to be a great show!

Two Posters - take two...

I decided to do the "I don't kiss and tell" and the "Don't drink and drive" posters because the title went with the first picture. As for the other - I think everyone would agree on it. It's fun to go out and have a good time but to go overboard is never good.
